Roof Repair
Most roof problems start small — a few missing shingles, a failed flashing, a vent that was never sealed right. We find the actual source of the problem and fix it, with photos of what we find and a free estimate.

What we fix
Common roof repairs
These are the repairs we see most on DC homes:
Finding the leak
We trace it to the source
The stain on your ceiling is rarely directly under the leak — water travels along decking and framing and shows up somewhere else. So we inspect the whole roof system, not just the wet spot: shingles, flashing, valleys, vents, and gutters. We show you photos of what we find so you can see the problem yourself before deciding anything. The free inspection settles whether a repair will hold or whether the roof is telling you something bigger.
Repair or replacement?
When a repair is enough — and when it is not
A repair is the right call when the damage is localized and the rest of the roof is still sound — it stops the problem now and buys the roof years more life. Replacement is the right call when the damage is widespread, leaks keep returning after repairs, or the roof is at the end of its service life. If a repair will do the job, we say so instead of selling you a roof you do not need. Not sure? Take the repair-or-replace quiz or get a free inspection.
Urgent?
Water coming in right now?
If water is actively coming in, do not wait for the next storm — see emergency roof leak repair. We dry the roof in first to stop the damage, then make the permanent repair.
